What to expect from the Seminar:
1. Pre-Trip Preparation
A. Planning Your Adventure
- Location Scouting: Tools like Google Maps, GAIA GPS, Park4Night & iOverlander.
- Route Planning: Offline maps, GPS navigation & paper maps.
- Vehicle Prep: Choosing the right rig, weight distribution, packing tips & pre-trip checks.
- Gear: Selecting essential gear to get you further.
- Groups: Traveling with friends, convoy basics & team dynamics.
B. International Travel
- Travel Documents: Visas, Carnet, Insurance.
- Major Routes: Continent-specific planning & border crossings.
- Vehicle Shipping: How to transport your rig internationally.
C. Overlanding Basics
- Long-Distance Travel Prep: Fuel planning, water storage & mechanical reliability.
- Adapting to Different Terrains: Sand, mud, snow, dirt roads.
- Driving Techniques for Overlanding: Momentum control, tire pressure adjustments, handling rough roads, left foot breaking.
- Recovery Readiness: Winches, snatch straps, traction boards, self-recovery skills.
- Navigation & Communication: GPS, maps, emergencies, use of paper maps.
- Respecting the Trails: How to best take care of the environment around us.
2. Field Trip – Hands-On Training
- Practical Overlanding: Applying techniques in real conditions.
- Navigation Practice: GPS, offline maps, paper maps.
- Camp Setup: Choosing a safe site, different vehicle setups & efficiency tips.
- Cooking & Coffee: Off-grid cooking methods & essential gear.
3. Ziria Ski Resort – Camp & Food
- Setting up camp at Ziria Ski Resort or staying in the refuge.
- Dinner with local dishes by Satyrus Experience & Mountain Pleasures.
Participants can either follow us with their own vehicles or with our Feldon-equipped All-New Land Rover Discovery 5 or the All-New Land Rover Defender!
Prices:
Participation with your own Vehicle - 399€ (320€ early bird price until the 10th of April)
Participation with our Vehicles - 450€ (400€ early bird price until the 10th of April)
The price includes our stay at Ziria Ski Resort (option for Camping or Refuge) and dinner by Satyrus Mountain Pleasures. If you choose to stay inside the refuge instead of camping outside, you're going to need your sleeping bags, as there's a common sleeping ground with mattresses on the floor (proper refuge style).

PROGRAM
DAY 1 - Driving towards Ziria Mountain, exploring some beautiful trails and lake Dasiou. Then we will have our coffee stop in the middle of nowhere enjoying an epic mountain view; there is where the Overlanding Principles Workshop Part 1 will take place, along with the off-roading and technical driving training! As the sun will slowly start to set down we will head to Ziria's Ski Resort to set-up camp and finalise the OP Workshop Part 1. After we finish we will enjoy some local cuisine delicacies prepared for us by Satyrus Mountain Pleasures.
DAY 2 - We will start off the day with a cup of hot coffee and breakfast and then start a 15km dirt trail which will lead us to lake Doxa, where the Overlanding Principles Workshop Part 2 will take place! Finally we will head back to Adventure's Garage, home of Feldon Shelter in Europe, to have our goodbye party and give some cool gifts to the participants!

For International Markets we are able to ship out within 1-4 business days (depending on products availability), but delivery time may vary, depending on shipping agency's work load.
