Overland/Camping Trip List
For us, Overlanding is all about adventure and travel! Preparing for this adventure though is part of the fun and at the same time ensures that all important items you need to have with you are taken into consideration.
When packing for an overland trip; one must have in mind the following principles:
- keep it simple / don't overpack
- keep your vehicle's weight within the manufacturer's limits
- keep in mind weight distribution
- make sure important items are not left behind
Of course, forgetting something behind shouldn't add any extra stress to the overlander as everything is part of the adventure and there's almost always a solution to a problem! On the other hand, overlanders should be extra careful during their planning stage, when a health related item is needed, making sure that vital things like water/food are not left behind or when the traveller is about to undertake a long-term expedition on remote areas.
